Every year on April 27th, the New York Yankees and fans from across the world remember Babe Ruth, one of the greatest players in the history of baseball. Though he had a rough start in Baltimore, Maryland, Babe Ruth eventually found his place as a power hitter and home run champion. In honor of the greatest legend in baseball, here are a few of our favorite baseball and softball pieces for everyone in the family!

Baseball holds a special place in American history and culture. What better way to celebrate America’s national pastime than to gear up and play! Our lightweight mesh jerseys and hats give you great coverage and breathability whether you’re stepping up to bat or cheering in the stands. Store everything you need for a great game in our expandable baseball backpacks. Slide onto the plate in protective baseball or softball pants. Our baseball t-shirts are perfect for the diamond, the dugout, or even reading in your favorite coffee shop.

Whether you’re a die-hard Yankees fan or crazy for the Red Sox, no one can deny the importance of Babe Ruth’s influence on baseball. With a 1935 home run record of 714 (not bested until Hank Aaron in 1974) and Yankee Stadium nicknamed “the House that Ruth Built” it is no wonder we still pause to remember this great player today!

I never knew much about his history, but I don’t think any kid in America could grow up without at least hearing the name Babe Ruth! Football seems to be taking over these days, but a lot of people still believe that baseball will always be America’s past time
